Yard Neuroniq (formerly "Neuroniq Warehouse") is a warehouse management system.

2025: Integration with Trassir

On April 10, 2025, Technologies of the Future announced integration with TRASSIR license plate recognition systems in Yard Neuroniq solutions.

According to the company, recently the use of computer vision and artificial intelligence technologies has been spreading more and more. One of the popular directions of development is the automation of the processes of recognizing license plates in various conditions, including when entering/leaving the territory.

Users with warehouses and distribution centers have already installed number recognition systems. But, oddly enough, they rarely participate even in the management of MCDS, and even less often in the automation of processes at warehouse sites. The vast majority of them use security units as an electronic log of entry/exit recording, with the ability to find an event by number or time and receive content confirming this event.

The Yard Neuroniq solution implements the ability to integrate with number recognition systems, and it is difficult to overestimate it. For YMS, this is the most important "receptor" that allows you to organize maximum automation with minimal human involvement or additional software and hardware.

It works as follows.

Option 1. The organization of the warehouse does not imply the maintenance of vehicles without a pre-issued order. MCDS is controlled by Yard Neuroniq.

By order, an auto-visit to a suitable time slot is planned, indicating all the necessary data, including the transport number. The warehouse is preparing to accept the transport to the designated slot. The vehicle drives up to the camera of the number recognition system. The read number is transmitted through the integration service to Yard Neuroniq, which searches for it in the lists of current auto-visits. If the number is found, and the setting "arrived on time, earlier or late" gives permission to enter, then the barrier opens. In fact, at this moment there is an invisible process of registering the appearance of transport. It is important to note that at the same time the driver does not leave the car, the security guard does not leave his post, but all warehouse employees involved in maintenance receive information about the arrival of vehicles, and the service algorithm is launched.

At the exit, Yard Neuroniq also checks the transport by number and, based on the settings, automatically releases or informs about the reasons for the exit ban.

Option 2. The warehouse may serve transportation on unscheduled visits and/or Yard Neuroniq does not operate the MCDS.

This is a semi-automatic control, where computer vision makes it possible to obtain data not for decision making by the Yard Neuroniq system, but for displaying information for the decision maker, for example, a security guard. In this option, arrival registration takes place after pressing "OK" by a person, the barrier is also opened by a person. But even with this option, there is a significant saving of time, because most of the necessary data is obtained automatically, you do not need to spend time on "manual" input.

There may be other possibilities for using information obtained by number recognition systems when implementing Yard Neuroniq, all objects are different. For some customers, an important option is a reference book of "their" cars, and with different categories, for example, personal cars of employees, their cars working on orders, cars of guests, etc. The procedure is provided if the wrong car arrived, which is indicated in the auto-visit (changed for various reasons), as well as how to act if special vehicles arrived. Often, reading numbers is used not only at the entrance/exit, but also at some stages of the route, then Yard Neuroniq receives information about the start of the stage and its completion, with visual confirmation. In all cases, interaction with number recognition systems makes it possible to offer many options for settings, the main thing is that the reading of numbers occurs correctly.

It happens that numbers are not read because they are dirty. In this case, options are thought out, for example: equipping the guard with a special interface for entering a number, installing a self-service terminal, placing a QR code with a link to the interface for entering data, etc.

Experience with TRASSIR systems has shown that non-readout cases are very rare. Using a trained neural network gives the correct read result almost always. Some recent Yard projects did not have number recognition systems installed. The Company recommended TRASSIR systems to Customers, and then performed all installation and commissioning activities.

Setting up number recognition systems, in particular TRASSIR, requires fairly specific competencies. Despite all the support that TRASSIR provides with its products, only the experience of specific implementations can provide the necessary skills. A lot of factors on specific objects affect the correct operation of the system.

In order to meet the challenges of implementing, configuring and maintaining TRASSIR systems, Neuroniq engineers have completed an intensive training course from the very manufacturer of professional software for the system - TRASSIR.

The training allowed engineers to deepen their knowledge of security and video recording, master modern solutions and update their skills.

2023: Entry into the state register of computer programs in Rospatent

Yard Neuroniq - The warehouse management system is included in the state register of computer programs in Rospatent. This Technology of the Future was reported on December 18, 2023.

Yard Neuroniq is designed to automate the management of traffic and client flows in the warehouse. It creates a single space for transport, documents and people, in order to optimize the use of storage area, time and resources. The main areas of application of the program include storage areas and complexes, production warehouses and sites, as well as freight operators.

The Neuroniq Warehouse system (Neuroniq YMS) is used for warehouse management (YMS, Yard Management System) and for dispatching traffic through the territory of the enterprise.

Neuroniq warehouse helps reserve a specific time window for the vehicle. This takes into account the priority of transport and cargo. When forming a transport order, the carrier is given a unique barcode by which the car, upon arrival at the warehouse, is registered in the queue.

The pre-registration system forms a schedule for servicing vehicles in a warehouse, which is specified upon the arrival of cars on the territory.

Pre-registration allows you to combat the delay and downtime of transport, form a shipment/acceptance schedule, influence the timeliness of transport arrival, and evenly distribute the dynamics of the incoming flow of machines.

Arriving at the warehouse, the driver reads the barcode from the transport order form at the check-in kiosk. If there is no order, the system gives the driver the opportunity to register by entering data into an interactive form, and puts him in line with the issuance of a coupon.

There are various scenarios in case of late or early arrival of transport, taking into account the priority of the carrier and cargo.

A "black list" of drivers and cars is provided.

The system automatically assigns a gateway, taking into account the schedule of the gate, the number of storekeepers on the line, the commodity specialization of the gate and other factors. The beginning and end of loading/unloading are recorded by reading a barcode or RFID card, or using a device (tablet, hardware console).

The system can plan the route of the driver/car in the warehouse: for example - security post (entry) - accounting (acceptance of documents) - gate (unloading) - accounting (issuance of documents) - security post (departure). At all stages, data entry into the system is monitored by warehouse employees and drivers. It is possible to flexibly configure the route of any complexity, taking into account the time standards for each stage and critical levels of excess.

Reports show a detailed picture of vehicles staying in stock, including the time spent at each stage by any of the users authorized in the system, including drivers.

Neuroniq warehouse provides opportunities to inform drivers about calls to gates and other points of the route:

The central Neuroniq warehouse module operates as an HTTP server and can be managed by commands from external systems. You can write variables to the database, import and export data in various formats. Neuroniq warehouse can be integrated with third-party hardware systems: automatic gates and barriers, MCDS, video surveillance, facial recognition system, etc.
