2022: Eltex TAU-8N.IP VoIP Gateway
On March 30, 2022, Eltex announced the launch in pre-production of the VoIP gateway Eltex TAU-8N.IP, the successor to the TAU-8.IP model. It allows you to both create an isolated VoIP network in a separate office using internal switching, and combine geographically remote VoIP networks through IP-PBX. Also scale the existing network by combining several TAU-8N.IP.

TAU-8N.IP supports technology of storage of two images of the software Dual Image. For example, if the device does not start from the main boot partition, the backup partition is activated. If started successfully, the damaged image is automatically restored, thereby achieving fault tolerance of the system. High quality voice transmission is provided by the use of the main audio codecs and mechanisms for prioritizing QoS traffic for VoIP networks, as well as support for echo compensation, silence detector, comfort noise generator, reception and generation of DTMF signals. Fax transmission is possible with the G.711 pass-through codec and the T.38 protocol.
You can manage the TAU-8N.IP and get up-to-date information about its operation using the web interface, Telnet terminal and SSH. The device also supports TR-069, which facilitates its configuration and remote support of subscribers, secure automatic configuration and updating of the VoIP gateway.

As of January 26, 2017, TAU-72.IP (72 FXS) is a subscriber VoIP gateway for transmitting voice and fax information over IP networks.
Multi-port TAU series VoIP gateways are designed to transmit voice and fax information over IP networks. The gateways provide subscribers with high-quality telephone communication with support for the mode of operation of the isolated office PBX and with the main set of ROVs.
The hardware platform based on the modern Mindspeed chip, support for all the main audio codecs used in VoIP networks (G.711, G.723.1, G.726, G.729), echo compensation functions, silence detector, comfort noise generator, reception and generation of DTMF signals, as well as traffic prioritization mechanisms (QoS) provide high quality voice information.
If there is no communication with the main SIP server, an automatic switch is made to the standby SIP server with the main server health control. If communication with both IP telephony servers is lost, local communication between the subscribers of the gateway remains possible.
An intuitive multilingual management interface and support for TR- 069 and DHCP (DHCP-autoprovisioning )-based group automated management tools make it easy to use an unlimited number of TAU gateways on the operator's network.
For mass operation of gateways in the network, a single Eltex.EMS monitoring and control system is offered. The system provides centralized management of a group of gateways with the ability to monitor ports through a single web interface.
