Angstrem created power transistors for the medical equipment

On January 27, 2017 the Russian producer of microelectronic components Angstrem announced creation of power transistors for the domestic medical equipment. They successfully passed all tests and received good reviews from producers of the iatrotechnics.

JSC Angstrem and Altomedika LLC carried out joint tests of model samples of external defibrillators with the high-voltage IGBT transistors developed in Angstrem with tension 3300B. According to the results of testing it was mentioned that transistors on the characteristics do not concede, and on some even exceed foreign analogs.

JSC Angstrem is the only producer of packageless NPT+ of IGBT transistors in Russia on tension from 600 to 6000B. NPT+ IGBT transistors have a small gate charge, small losses on switching and low tension of saturation.

Angstrem created power transistors for the medical equipment

IGBT transistors can be used in production of discrete semiconductor devices and power modules, in solar and wind power engineering, in the medical equipment. 

The level of development of domestic microelectronics allows to close basic needs in transistors and chips by production of the medical equipment. Moreover, production capacities give the chance to arrange large volume of export deliveries of microelectronic products for needs of foreign producers of the iatrotechnics — the director of an analog product of JSC Angstrem Evgeny Kuzmin noted.

It is said in the statement of Angstrem that by the beginning of 2017 of ambulance cars alone equipped with defibrillators in Russia there are more than 15 thousand. Proceeding from it, supply rate can be measured by tens of thousands of items of equipment.

Earlier the Government of the Russian Federation signed the resolution on the state support of domestic manufacturers of the medical equipment. Now at state procurements of the iatrotechnics the Russian companies will use a priority.
