On January 27, 2017, the Russian manufacturer of microelectronic components Angstrom announced the creation of power transistors for domestic medical equipment. They successfully passed all the tests and received good reviews from manufacturers of medical equipment.
Angstrom JSC and Altomedika LLC conducted joint tests of model samples of external defibrillators with high-voltage IGBT transistors with 3300V voltage developed at Angstrom. According to the results of testing, it was noted that transistors are not inferior in their characteristics, and in some they even surpass their foreign counterparts.
Angstrom JSC is the only Russian manufacturer of non-chip NPT + IGBT transistors with voltages from 600 to 6000V. NPT + IGBT transistors have a low gate charge, low switching loss and low saturation voltage.
IGBT transistors can be used in the production of discrete semiconductor devices and power modules, in solar and wind power, in medical equipment.
| The level of development of domestic microelectronics allows you to close the basic needs for transistors and microcircuits in the production of medical equipment. Moreover, production capacities make it possible to establish a large volume of export supplies of microelectronic products for the needs of foreign manufacturers of medical equipment, "said Evgeny Kuzmin, director of analog product at Angstrem JSC. |
The Angstrom report says that by the beginning of 2017, there are more than 15 thousand ambulances equipped with defibrillators in Russia alone. Based on this, the volume of supplies can be measured in tens of thousands of pieces of equipment.
Earlier, the Government of the Russian Federation signed a decree on state support for domestic manufacturers of medical equipment. Now, in public procurement of medical equipment, Russian companies will take priority.
