Biography

Sergey Scherbakov graduated from the Ufa aviation technical university in 1984 in the information and measuring equipment.

Worked more than 15 years on executive positions in the large IT companies of Bashkortostan.

Since 2004 works in the different companies of the PPF group which is a majority shareholder of "Home Credit Bank".

In 2004 headed the Ufa regional representative office of "Home Credit Bank" and was responsible for business development in the Urals.

In 2006 it passed into head office of bank in Moscow where completed the work in 2010 on a position of the director of the department of business architecture.

From 2010 to 2013 worked in NOMOS-bank and Eldorado which shareholder was those years the PPF group.

In 2013-2016 was the chairman of the board of "Home Credit Bank" in Belarus.

2017

Chief information officer of "Home Credit Bank"

On February 1, 2017 Sergey Scherbakov was appointed to the position of the CIO of "Home Credit Bank", told TAdviser in bank. In this position he submits to the chairman of the board Yury Andresov. Scherbakov will also be a part of managing committee of bank.

The main task of Sergey Scherbakov in a new position – considerably to reduce time to market, i.e. time to market of new products and services, told TAdviser in bank. It is for this purpose going to implement actively methodology of development of Agile, to increase flexibility and openness of a technology platform, to automate processes, step by step to upgrade architecture, including due to implementation of microservices.

Sergey Scherbakov released Alexey Yevtushenko from the Chief information officer's duty. "Home Credit Bank" reported to TAdviser that he made the decision to leave the company.

In June, 2019 Sergey Scherbakov left Home Credit Bank and made the decision to continue the career out of group, told TAdviser in bank. Instead of Scherbakov the Home Credit Bank was appointed by the Chief information officer Alexander Kalinovsky.
