"Petter Service" implemented the system of convergent billing for Geocell

Content

2018: Unification of a billing system

On February 6, 2018 the Petter Service company announced project completion of unification of a billing system for the Georgian mobile operator Geocell. Uniform billing will allow to carry out calculations and tariffing of calls in real time for all subscribers of the operator.

Till December, 2017 Geocell used two different systems of service postpaid-and prepaid-subscribers. According to the development strategy, the operator made the decision to transfer subscribers to uniform billing. The contractor Geocell selected Petter Service company.

The first phase of implementation of a single billing system was completed in December, 2016: specialists of "Petter Service" carried out migration to the system of postpaid-subscribers of the operator. In December, 2017 the second stage of works within which prepaid-subscribers of Geocell were transferred to uniform billing was successfully completed.

Migration of prepaid-subscribers in a system was executed by Petter Service company in 3 months. Transition to the convergent solution will allow the operator to optimize the business processes and will increase transparency of work with subscribers, will become the good tool for implementation of further marketing tasks and expansion of a range of the provided services.

2017: Billing system implementation

On February 15, 2017 the Petter Service company announced system implementation of billing and transfer of postpaid-subscribers of Geocell company on her.

Project Tasks

The customer selected Petter Service company as the supplier of the billing solution for the network.

Project Results

In 2016 the works on transfer of postpaid-subscribers are completed. Since January, 2017 all processes connected with calculation and tariffing of calls for contract subscribers are executed using the Petter Service software products.
