The management of joint stock company made the decision on implementation of "COMPASS" at the beginning of 2008, after consideration of two systems: "COMPASS" and "BOSS-personnel officer". Served as the main arguments for benefit of "COMPASS":
- as much as possible compliance to business processes of the plant, including due to existence of the specialized industry solution for mechanical engineering industry allowing to reduce sharply terms and realization value of the project on software implementation;
- the built-in instrument of the visual setup "Masters of the COMPASS" providing low labor input of individual adaptations with forces of staff of IT department of the Customer;
- possibility of the description of any methods of calculation of charges and deduction for the salary without application of programming aids.
Implementation began in 2008. At the first stage of JSC Volgogradneftemash purchased only 5 licenses for different system modules. Having held software testing on real data and having analyzed business personnel management processes, the staff of IT department of the Customer defined the number of licenses necessary for commercial operation. As a result now at the enterprise 90 licenses for simultaneous access to the database of the following modules are used:
- "Personnel records";
- "Payroll";
- "Execution of orders" (these modules are used directly in workshops of the plant);
- "Charge on cash cards";
- "Electronic individual data for PF and Ministry of Taxes and Tax Collection".
In May, 2008 system "COMPASS: Personnel management" it was put in trial operation, and in June, after carrying out parallel payroll calculation on "COMPASS" and the system of own development used earlier in full accordance with the planned dates specified in the agreement – in industrial.
In July and August payroll calculation was performed with assistance of consultants of KOMPAS company, and since September the staff of JSC Volgogradneftemash completely passes to independent operation of software.
In implementation process of the project consultants of the Contractor, in addition to installation and software configuration; training of employees of the Customer, import of data from earlier used software, conducted examination of business processes on accounting of a piece-work pay. Based on inspection software configuration on individual requirements of JSC Volgogradneftemash was carried out. The main volume of settings fell on development of two new forms of dresses on execution of works. The first of them, the called "Dress with price-work extra earnings", allows to perform automatically specific calculations of awards at a piece-work pay. The second, "The price-work dress by types of payments", gives the chance to automatically distribute between members of crew the amount added for accomplishment of each of works by the principle which can be selected from the following list
- in proportion to time spent for this work;
- in proportion to rates of workers;
- in proportion to the work of time for a rate.
