The winner of the tender of Rostelecom for creation of a cloud platform dropped the price by 4 times

Rostelecom selected the contractor on creation of the platform for sale of cloud services. The relevant information appeared on the website of the operator[1].

Rostelecom saved 100 million rubles on creation of shop of cloud services of "MyOffice", Office 365 and Kaspersky

Applications from five companies were submitted for the tender with the starting price nearly 135 million rubles. It is Philosophy.IT, "NEK Neva Communications Systems", Delta Solutions, "Technoserv of AS" and Step Logic. However offers of the first three participants were rejected because of their mismatch to requirements of the technical project.

During the further trade procedures the cost of requests of the remained participants was considerably reduced. Technoserv brought down the cost of the contract to 37.5 million rubles, Step Logic - to 34.7 million rubles, i.e. almost by 4 times. As a result the winner announced Step Logic company. According to TAdviser, it suggested to implement the project based on the solution Velvica whereas Technoserv offered a product of Teligent company.

As expected, at the first stage of the project clients of Rostelecom will be able to order according to the credit scheme of the solution "MyOffice" Office 365 WorksPad Asoft CRM, "MyWayhouse" and also different anti-virus products "Kaspersky Labs" ESET Dr. Web, McAfee and Trend Micro.

In an effect the company expects to open a possibility of the order of a complete cloud product line of 1C, solutions of Megaplan and other software.

Connection of services should be available only to legal entities - clients of Rostelecom and Zebratelekom. The cloud platform should be available on several show-windows – on the website www.rt.ru, in a personal account of legal entities client.rt.ru and also on show-windows of partners.

Input of a system in commercial operation should take place about 4 months later after the beginning of works. In 2018 - 2020 development of the platform – purchase of additional licenses, development of adapters and so forth is possible.

In November, 2016 Rostelecom carried out purchase at New cloud technologies company of licenses of the software of "MyOffice" for the total amount of 284.56 million rubles. As TAdviser reported the source familiar with terms of transaction, office solutions were bought by Rostelecom for further resale to clients.
