The All-Russian Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) is created by contractors and manufacturers of phonograms for the purpose of collective management of the neighboring rights in the spheres set by the legislation both in the territory of Russia, and beyond its limits.
The main activities of the organization are collecting of remuneration from users of music for benefit of contractors and manufacturers of phonograms, distribution and payment of remuneration to the Russian and foreign owners, representation of interests of the Russian owners abroad within the international system of collective management of the neighboring rights.
