In the Museum of the armored equipment exposure about tank construction is unrolled by multimedia

In the Museum of the armored equipment which opened at the end of January in Prohorov's region of the Belgorod region by means of multimedia of technologies the history of development of tank construction from the Middle Ages is recreated up to now. Exposure was placed on the area of 1500 square meters. The "Plant of Museum and Exhibition Art" company acted as the general contractor of the project. The Emay Sistems company executed a full range of works on integration of a multimedia complex for ensuring work of a display at the exhibition based on the equipment supplied Auvix companies.

In the museum much attention is paid to navigation — wall, floor, sound and light. General management by all complex of the multimedia equipment is exercised using the Crestron Pro3 processor. Management of art lighting of halls is Crestron DIN-AP3.

All equipment is automated and turns on clicking of one button from the touch tablet. Guides can turn on the different sound, light and video scenarios required for holding an excursion. Scoring of installations is constructed on the equipment Ecler.

16 install projectors of Optoma, with a brightness from 3600 to 6000 ANSI of lm are involved in a complex. At the same time halls are rather well lit, told in Auvix.

Projectors are set on fastenings of Wize Pro and completed with bars of different length that allowed to place them at optimal height and to minimize the level of a keystone. As user interfaces of management for guides and service staff the software package Iridium Pro for Crestron is used.

Touchscreen kiosks function on the solution of the class Digital Signage of NDS company — PADS4. Thanks to DALI technology the light scenarios allowing to make the picture were implemented is more accurate even in difficult conditions: a non-standard projective surface (simulation of a bricklaying in the main hall), a parasitic flare and other.

The first Middle Ages hall shows the equipment of that time and also the exhibits relating to the beginning of the 20th century: the first Russian armored cars, tanks of the period of the 1st World war of the Russian, English, German and French designers. Especially for the hall engineers developed multimedia compositions "The animated shadows": the image from a projector represents a shadow from the model, at activation by the visitor of the sensor installed on a podium, light is muffled, the shadow begins the movement and shows work of an exhibit in the form of the animated roller. Installations are implemented using Optoma W316ST projectors. The central place in the hall is taken by the model of a tank Leonardo da Vinci who became a prototype of modern tanks. Exposure is equipped with the system of the directed sounding allowing to hear content of the audioguide in the range of two meters from an exhibit. The speaker system of the hall consists of the Ecler 106 loudspeakers working in the low-impedance mode and the Ecler NXA4x80 amplifier.

In the hall Design office the installation "T-34 Tank" consisting of a video projection of the hand building the drawing of a tank, and the T-34 model by is provided. Installation is also equipped with the system of the directed sounding. For viewing the model and obtaining information on its components the observation deck at the level of 1.2 m is organized. The built-in touchpad allows to reproduce the movement of parts of a tank thanks to the videomepping constructed on the Optoma EH503 models with different lenses.

The central hall of the museum is an obstanovochny scene of the plant on production of the armored vehicles consisting of several episodes. Exposure is provided by the original machines and dummies reproducing production of the equipment in days of the Second World War. The sound scenario "Noise of Work of Workshops" is implemented by means of the solution on a sound hardware of Ecler: on perimeter the wall Ecler Audeo 106 loudspeakers working in the high-voltage mode which are connected to a digital array of Ecler DAM614 and the HSA300 amplifier are located. All exhibits are complemented with the video chronicle and touchscreen kiosks for providing more complete information to visitors about exhibits. As shell program the solution Digital Signage of NDS company is set — PADS4 allowing to carry out monitoring of booths on a centralized basis to include or switch off them and to update content.

In the hall devoted to modern Russian tanks and armored vehicles the information booth works with PADS4 software together with DS a player of iAdea XMP-2300d company. For implementation of functionality of interaction of the user of the interactive booth and the mediaplayer it was developed special integration by software based on web technologies. Scoring of this installation is implemented on the equipment Ecler CA120 and Audeo103.

"Within the next year the museum is going to increase the number of multimedia installations: add interactive floors, a big panoramic projection, simulators and many other things. As we considered it at a stage of preparation of the project, further these tasks will be implemented with the minimum costs for implementation — Andrey Vasilyev, the technical project director told. — Separately I want to note that we were helped by technical support of specialists of Auvix company — both at a design stage, and at implementation of the project".
