VTB for 5 years transferred service of the printing equipment to outsourcing to Xerox

The VTB bank will transfer infrastructure management of printing and scanning on outsourcing of Xerox company. The results of the corresponding tender were summed up on July 26, 2017.^[1]

Within 5 years from signature date of the agreement "Copier (CIS)" will have to make preventive maintenance and restoring repair of a printing equipment, provide supplies, change faulty devices and also hold events for reduction, unification and updating of the equipment.

VTB for half a billion gives service of printing on outsourcing of Xerox

The initial cost of services within the project was estimated by the customer at 557.5 million rubles. On the tender of bank 3 requests arrived. In addition to the offer "Copier (CIS)", the joint application from companies "New Service Technologies" (NST) and "was submitted CST Service" (both companies are included into the Maykor group) and also the request from "Aquarius production company" together with Postus and Eureka.

The offer Akvarius was rejected because of mismatch to requirements of regulations on purchases of bank. Among the remained applicants for the contract the greatest number of points was received by the request "Copier (CIS)". Despite higher price of agreement performance, qualification it the participant was estimated much above qualification of NST.

As a result Copier was announced pobeditelen. The total price of the agreement was 530 million rubles.

Copier renders similar services for 515 million rubles since April, 2017 also to VTB 24 bank in Moscow and the Moscow region. In December, 2016 the contract for service maintenance of a printing equipment worth 592.5 million rubles is signed with Russian Post.

Copier on outsourcing of infrastructure of printing is one more large customer Eldorado network which park of the printing equipment consists of 7.5 thousand devices of different producers.

As expected, within the project in VTB bank for the entire period of service over 525 million monochrome and 22.5 million color proofs of A4 format will be made. Printing quality will be estimated by visual inspection at which the print or the copy should be accurate and clear, signs and graphics bright. On prints there should be no foreign defects.

The park of printers and MFP which service is transferred to outsourcing contains more than 4.2 thousand devices of the brand of HP. Their main part is located in Moscow, the Moscow region and St. Petersburg. Under maintenance several tens of devices in Perm and Orenburg also get.

In addition about 400 list devices in bank departments of the Moscow region need to be replaced with others – new or second-hand.

In general all project works can be separated into several blocks of services:

• Maintenance (M) and restoring repair (RR).
• Organization of warranty repair of devices
• Management of operational stocks of supplies and spare parts
• Registration and processing of requests in the HelpDesk system
• Optimization and infrastructure management of printing, including decommissioning of old devices with replacement by new
