2022: VR Academy launch

VR Concept, a resident, on Skolkovo April 26, 2022 announced the launch of the VR Academy, the purpose of which is to accelerate the introduction of technology virtual reality educational into the process by increasing the competencies of teachers and creating an ecosystem based on the Russian solutions for the development of a community of experts in VR.

More than 1,000 educational institutions, according to research by the NTI Center FEFU and, Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation own VR equipment, but few use it. This is primarily due to the lack of VR skills, while the demand of educational institutions for specialists who own VR technology is growing. In addition, the situation is complicated by restrictions in the region ON sanctions in conditions. The VR Academy, launched by a resident of the Skolkovo Foundation, the developer of the VR Concept platform for collective work and training in virtual reality with the support of the Skolkovo Foundation, the NTI FEFU Center Lomonosov Moscow State University , and MOSCOW STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY can solve both of these problems.

The goal of the VR Concept Academy is to help educational institutions introduce VR into the educational process, including by providing a platform that does not depend on Western counterparts. On the basis of the Academy, secondary and higher educational institutions will be able to improve the qualifications of their personnel in the field of skills in working with VR equipment and the application of methodologies for creating lessons in virtual reality.

The accumulated experience formed the basis for the creation of three ready-made educational courses of the Academy, which anyone can take online.
