The Softintegro engineering company announced on August 3, 2017 completion of major repair and system implementation of automation of the turbine of average pressure on combined heat and power plant-1 (CHPP-1) Norilsk which is a part of "Norilsk and Taimyr Energy Company" (NTEC).
As noted in the company, Softintegro acts as the contractor on the organization project, construction and commissioning on implementation new an APCS for all turbines of average pressure on CHPP-1 of NTEK. Project works were also performed by specialists of The First Engineer company.
Project Progress
Within the Softintegro project carried out upgrade of the automated control system for the turbine within the agreement on commissioning of an APCS of turbines of average pressure on CHPP-1 Norilsk. Specialists of Softintegro worked in close cooperation with the operating service CHPP-1. On the turbine new sensors were installed, distributing of a cable is replaced, installation of the instrumentations (I) and ZRA is made. For processing and data output on the automated jobs (AJ) of a dispatcher station in a system controllers of Siemens with the specialized modifed software are used.
In turn, "The first engineer" performed mounting works of the automated control system of turbine unit No. 20 of CHPP-1. Specialists of "The first engineer" were faced by a task to set an APCS of the turbine in short terms: so, on installation and construction works only 4 weeks were allotted. As a result the company made the whole complex of works on dismantling of the old equipment, installation and a software setup, thousands of meters of a cable are laid, hundreds of meters of a pulse tube, tens of connection boxes, assemblies and control cabinets are mounted, hundreds of sensors are installed.
At the final stage of commissioning comprehensive tests of the unit took place. They were carried out within 72 hours on load rating of a turbine unit and confirmed steady and stable operation of software and technical means of turbine No. 20.
Completion of works
For August 3, 2017 the first stage of the agreement on updating of the automation equipment for turbine unit No. 20 is successfully completed. The turbine is put into operation and works at full capacity.
APCS of a turbine unit of combined heat and power plant provides the automated control of all normative parameters, operational management of installation, profitability and safety of process of operation of the generating equipment.
Works on repair and updating of turbine units will continue.
