IT-Consult trained specialists of REP Holding in administration of the Simatic IT Preactor system

On September 15, 2017 the IT-Consult company announced completion of training of employees REP Holding (St. Petersburg) in work with a production scheduling system of Simatic IT Preactor.

REP Holding is the Russian power machine-building holding, the developer, the producer and the supplier of a utilities equipment. The enterprise executes design developments, production and complex deliveries of the utilities and electrotechnical equipment for gas, oil, metallurgical and chemical industry, for power and an electric grid.

Project Progress

During the project in REP Holding experts IT-Consult performed works on training of IT specialists of the customer on configuring and administration of a system of operational planning of production Simatic IT Preactor.

In learning process such subjects as a technique of structuring data, methods of integration of the Simatic IT Preactor system with other systems and also a technique of formation of automatic scenarios in a system were considered.

Project Results

The gained knowledge will allow specialists of REP Holding to accompany and develop a system independently.

REP Holding also noted the recommendations made by experts IT-Consult the recommendations whenever possible of implementation of strategic option of planning for three years ahead and integration of Simatic IT Preactor with other systems. By the customer's estimates, it will allow to minimize influence of a human factor at making changes in a complex of information systems.
