Axis D-серия is a line of network radar sensors.

On October 9, 2017 the Axis Communications company announced release of the network radar AXIS D2050-VE sensor.

Network radar AXIS D2050-VE, (2017) sensor

The device provides exact and reliable detection of moving objects in controlled zones under different light and weather conditions. It is focused on use as a part of[1].

The device is developed first of all for industrial video surveillance systems of the average size, created counting on integration into video cameras and management systems for video surveillance (VMS) of Axis company, with video surveillance systems and VMS of large vendors.

The street AXIS D2050-VE sensor is protected from manifestations of vandalism and allows to obtain information on location, speed, a foreshortening and the size of a moving object in real time. It has big reach and the wide field of detection. Cases of false operation on spiders, small animals, moving shadows and flares are minimized. The radar motion sensor can be configured on start of a video on the camera, activation of the loudspeaker or inclusion of lighting for scaring away of violators and improvement of conditions of visual confirmation using cameras.

The network radar Axis sensor can be used as the self-contained unit and in composition of video surveillance. Using the open interface, the sensor can be integrated with the software of AXIS Camera Station and AXIS Camera Management, other management systems for video surveillance.

AXIS D2050-VE is mounted on a wall. It is used generally out of premises. The detection zone with a corner of a scope of 120 degrees, range is 50 m. Power supply - on Power over Ethernet Plus technologies (PoE+), security for the classes IP66, IK08 and NEMA 4X. The sensor can be operated at temperatures from -40 °C to +60 °C.
