Biography
In 2005, Pavel Alimov graduated from the University of Southern California (bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance).
For more than ten years he worked in the field of corporate finance, direct and venture capital investment.
Until 2008, he worked in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs in Moscow and London, where he advised Russian and international companies on attracting financing and conducting mergers and acquisitions with a total volume of over $4 billion.
For 5 years, he has been engaged in direct investments in Alfa Group, Klever Asset Management and the East East Group, mainly focusing on investments in the consumer and financial sectors.
In 2011-2016 managed the venture fund Frontier Ventures.
In 2016, he joined Selectel as Deputy General Director for Strategy and Development and was responsible for the strategic management of the company, built an analytical division from scratch, and also led the HR direction.
On November 21, 2017, Selectel announced the appointment of Pavel Alimov as CEO. Previously, he served as deputy general director and was responsible for the strategic development of the company.
The decision to cede the post of CEO of Selectel Lev Leviyev was explained by the large number of investment projects in which the entrepreneur is involved.
The need to participate in the management of other assets has not recently allowed me to fully immerse myself in Selectel's work issues. Therefore, I decided to transfer the functions of general director to Pavel - a person who is completely devoted to business development.
