"ELAR" completed the project of digitization of exhibits in "The Mytishchi historical art museum"

On December 7, 2017 ELAR Corporation announced project completion of digitization of exhibits in the Mytishchi historical art museum. For creation of digital copies of museum objects were used technology of high-quality scanning and 3D - shooting.

On professional planetary scanners of the ELAR Planskan brand about 400 pictorial and graphic works from museum collection are scanned.

For digitization of volume objects, in particular arts and crafts and a sculpture, ELAR applied 3D technology. Exhibits in turn were established on the rotary platform, the camera by the predeterminated parameters did up to 360 frames, and then pictures were mounted in a digital roller.

Now the museum will be able to organize multimedia exposures when on big monitors exhibits are shown from all directions. In 3D the old watch, porcelain vases and also a sculpture from bronze – a monument to A.V. Suvorov are finished shooting. It is the copy of a monument to the commander executed at the Mytishchi enterprise "Vel". The monument created by the sculptor O.K. Komov facing theater of the Soviet Army in Moscow became a prototype of a sculpture which is set in Mytishchi in the square of the residential district of Shitikov.

"The electronic copies received as a result of scanning can be used by the museum in accounting activity – they can be loaded into the accounting system and the state directory of Museum Fund of the Russian Federation. For transfer to a digital form of objects of painting and diagrams the museums traditionally use planetary scanners. This equipment is absolutely safe for originals and allows to render completely color, color and all nuances of primary sources".
