TEMS Pocket InfoVista

TEMS Pocket InfoVista (before Ascom) is a hardware-software complex for radio measurements and control of networks.

TEMS Pocket is the measuring solution based on the mobile phone developed for performance measurement and qualitative parameters of wireless networks suitable not only for the drive testing, but also for carrying out measurements in buildings (Indoor). A system fixes results of measurements and information on events for instant monitoring or postprocessing in TEMS Discovery or other tool.

The solution intended for control of work, service, search and fault recovery in networks of mobile communication and also for solving of tasks of initial floor planning of cells. New implementation of this system allows to use it in the networks working on GSM technologies/GPRS/EDGE, WCDMA/HSPA, CDMA, EV-DO LTE and also Wi-Fi.

Main Characteristics:

• Aggregation of bearing:
  • Support of aggregation of the phone models bearing on a row;
  • Adding of parameters of the servicing cell to bearing for visualization of the second signal power, quality and frame synchronization;

• Data collection for development of optimal design of network:
  • Data collection for planning and development;
  • Use of collected information on a radio signal for optimization of engineering solutions;

• Integration with TEMS iBuildNet on Bluetooth; a possibility of data exchange with the scheduler of iBwave Mobile;
• VoLTE testing:
  • Function is supported on a number of the user devices;

• LTE EARFCN и PCI lock
  • Control function allows to tie the device to a certain cell (LTE with the PCI parameter) + EARFCN;

Features

In the whole TEMS Pocket allows:

• Measure data transfer rate in networks LTE, WCDMA in the ranges of 850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100 and 2600 MHz and also GSM/GPRS/EDGE in the ranges of 850/900/1800/1900 MHz;
• Carry out indoor-measurements with a binding to the plan of the premises;
• Save results of measurements in log files for the subsequent analysis;
• Find errors in network functioning, without being engaged at the same time in their purposeful search;
• Use control functions of the 100-th and also a possibility of communication under the FTP protocol;
• Work in a complex with TEMS Automatic and TEMS Investigation.

Specific Features

• A large number of the devices which are at the same time working in the mode the controller/agent (now to 14) allows to obtain much more information from one measurement;
• Aggregation up to 3 bearing LTE of category 9 allows to test networks at speeds up to 450 Mbps;
• The flexible functionality of graphic display of measurements with a possibility of the choice of render time does information more evident;
• Support of different options of fixing of parameters of network without reset, with a possibility of activation by means of scripts;
• Support of additional measurements on devices with a chipset of Samsung (up to 20 additional parameters in the section LTE and WCDMA).

Versions

4 different packets are offered:

• TEMS Pocket Standard is light version for the solution of required tasks of the attractive price;
• TEMS Pocket Professional is the solution for engineers and technicians for measurements and fault recovery in network functioning, support of record of log files and optional functionality;
• TEMS Pocket Remote is the autonomous means working as the test device in a complex with TEMS Automatic;
• TEMS Pocket Premium is the maximum configuration from all versions of TEMS Pocket including all opportunities of TEMS Pocket Professional and TEMS Pocket Remote, supporting measurements in a complex with TEMS Automatic.
