2024: Digitization of about 5,925 sheets of valuable documents
ELAR Corporation has completed a project to create digital copies of the Books of Receipts and Accounting Documentation of the Tsaritsyno Museum. Elar announced this on March 6, 2024.
The Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve has a multidisciplinary collection of art and historical and cultural collections covering the period - from the II millennium BC. e. to the beginning of the XXI century. According to the museum's specialists, the number of items of the main and scientific support funds is almost 58 thousand units.
In total, about 5925 sheets of valuable documents were digitized within the framework of the project. Among them are the Acts of Jewelry Examinations - due to their age, they were in a deplorable state, crumbled, the acts were drawn up in the 80s, but are still used today. With the help of professional domestic planetary scanners, it was possible to carefully digitize the originals in contactless mode in order to exclude their further frequent operation, on the one hand, and make access to the information contained in them more prompt, on the other.
The acts contain a description of the objects, the authors of the work are indicated, the weight of the exhibits, by whom and under what conditions the object was transferred, - the Museum explains, - for example, information on the objects that entered the museum back in Soviet times is available exclusively in these acts, so for the museum this documentation is very important and in demand in regular work. |
The Museum notes that electronic copies will be uploaded to the Tsaritsyno databases and museum accounting programs.
2017: Digitization of accounting documentation
On January 31, 2017, ELAR Corporation announced the digitization of accounting documentation of the Tsaritsyno State Museum-Reserve.
Fifty-four books of receipts and one hundred and four invert books are scanned on planetary, scanners indexed for search and collected in electronic documents-format PDF.
Digitization of accounting documentation significantly increases the efficiency of checking the availability of museum items and optimizes the process of cataloging museum funds. In addition, the availability of electronic copies makes it possible to minimize the appeal to the originals of books of receipts and inventory books, which ensures the safety of the most important documents of the museum.
"The peculiarities of the documents are that the accounting information about the museum exhibits is located close to the binding. And so that specialists can view important information from electronic images, ELAR PlanScan equipment was used for scanning. The design and functionality of these scanners guarantee careful handling of documents and allow you to obtain a flat image without bending the original source in the binding area.
