RealWear Connected Plant Skills Insight Immersive Competency is the simulator on a basis added and virtual reality for training of production personnel and remedial action of professional training.

The wearable RealWear HMT-1Z1 computer on the Honeywell Movilizer platform
In May, 2018 Honeywell announced release of the wearable handsfree-device. In a series of intelligent wearable Honeywell Connected Plant Skills Insight devices the display attached to a headband managed by voice commands and displaying continuous data, documents, descriptions of working procedures and also information on the security regulation is used. Besides, using these devices the operative communication of workers with removed experts is provided.
In the solution the latest developments in the field of mobile handsfree-technologies, augmented reality, industrial Internet of Things and mobile access are applied. It includes the wearable RealWear HMT-1Z1 computer on the Honeywell Movilizer platform — the solution for optimization of workflows on the basis of cloud computing for support of operational transactions, especially in dangerous zones. This device allows to acquire valuable knowledge and skills in the course of work.
Main features of intelligent wearable devices of the Skills Insight series:
- Automation of tasks of the operator: issue of instructions on accomplishment of work assignments and procedures and also access to documentation for simplification of accomplishment of operational transactions.

Announcement of Connected Plant Skills Insight Immersive Competency
The Honeywell corporation in March, 2018 provided the simulator on the basis of a combination of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) for training of production personnel in the major actions at production. Considering a trend of aging of the personnel and need of high-quality knowledge transfer to young specialists, Honeywell developed the system of professional training Connected Plant Skills Insight Immersive Competency. It is intended for the accelerated training of new production personnel due to transfer of learning process to modern technologies.
Thanks to a successful combination the mixed reality, modern methods of the information analysis and more than 25 years' experience of Honeywell in the field of professional training of personnel it was succeeded to create an interactive environment of in-plant training. In this solution it is applied holographic computer HoloLens from Microsoft and the headsets of the mixed reality Windows Mixed Reality allowing to simulate different scenarios of operation of the Honeywell C300 controller such as failure of the main controller and switching at failure, fault of a cable, failure of the power source. Simulation of these scenarios allows to train personnel and to check the purchased skills.
The solution of Honeywell simulating specific actions of the worker in virtual environments, access to which is provided through a cloud, provides for the trainee close to natural interaction and information exchange both with colleagues, and with the instructor. At the same time trainees as well as during the work on the aviaexercise machine, can in a safe situation study effects of the decisions made by them. According to corporation, such approach allows to increase by 100% efficiency of maintenance of skills in comparison with traditional training methods and reduces duration of technical training by 66%. In addition it is possible to watch learning process of employees within an official management system for professional training.
