LANTER equipped buses of Sochi with the equipment for journey payment by bank cards

The LANTER company in March, 2018 announced equipment installation for journey payment by bank cards in buses of Sochi.

Passengers of the Sochi buses can quickly now, simply and safely to pay journey, putting the bank card to the transport validators delivered by LANTER company (enters into LANIT group).

Thanks to the hardware and software system developed by specialists LANTER, payment of a trip is possible proximity bank cards of PayPass or PayWave. This technology allows to use also for payment the smartphone supporting one of modern payment services — Android Pay, the Apple Pay or Samsung Pay. Payment is performed through safe connection and happens quickly.

As expected, the implemented payment method will be especially demanded at the passengers making incidental trips. Passengers can use the same bank card for payment of purchases in shops and for journey. Use of cards does not require participation of the driver or the conductor, and the passenger should not look for cash and to expect delivery that it simplifies payment process and saves time of passengers.

In this project we used a lineup of validators which corresponds to modern trends of the industry regarding functionality and design. For example, validators accompany payment with a voice sound signal and display information on result of write-off of money. Besides, on them transactions happen extremely quickly. It is sure, an opportunity to pay journey from the bank card or from the smartphone increases transparency of payment of journey, service quality of passengers of land transport and contributes to the development of non-cash infrastructure of the city.
