Social conditions are factors, in much defining human health — Anna Karpushkina, MD, the head of a charity program of Alpha Endo of KAF Fund noted. — Our research shows that about 20% of children with diabetes of the first type live in families in a difficult life situation. At these children diabetes is controlled badly. It is also important to remember that the family after diagnosis is in a stressful status. What aggravates intra family problems even more. The atmosphere in family strongly affects result of treatment of diabetes. The grant will allow us to help families of socially vulnerable groups of the population and to implement the modern practices which are successfully working in other countries of the world to improve wellbeing of children with this serious disease.
