At the end of June 2021, HP Inc. introduced, according to the company, the world's lightest laptop. We are talking about the Pavilion Aero 13 model, which weighs 987 grams.

The laptop is equipped with a 13.3-inch display with an IPS matrix, a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:10, a brightness of up to 400 nits and a 100 percent coverage of color space sRGB. The display accounts for about 90% of the front of the laptop roof.

Pavilion Aero 13

The hardware base is the AMD Ryzen 7 5800U with AMD Radeon graphics and 16 GB of RAM. The processor contains eight compute cores with the ability to simultaneously process up to 16 instruction streams. The base clock frequency is 1.9 GHz, the maximum is 4.4 GHz. A 512 GB SSD is available for storage.

The laptop received two speakers with Bang and Olufsen sound and HP Audio Boost technology. Options of connection HP Pavilion Aero 13 include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, SuperSpeed USB Type-C port of 10 Gbps, two ports SuperSpeed USB Type-A of 5 Gbps, HDMI 2.0 port and the combined socket for earphones/microphone. There is also a webcam with built-in bidirectional digital microphones.

According to the developers, the device is able to work without recharging for 10.5 hour. The physical dimensions of the product are as follows: 297 × 209 × 16.9 mm.

The cost of the HP Pavilion Aero 13 model in the US market will range from $750. It will be available in several colors: Pale Rose Gold (golden pink), Warm Gold (golden), Ceramic White (white) and Natural Silver (silver). Laptop sales will begin in July 2021. The timing of product availability in Russia by June 30, 2021 is not reported.[1]

HP Pavilion 13, HP Pavilion 14 and HP Pavilion 15 powered by 11th generation Intel Core

On October 5, 2020, HP Inc. introduced models in the Pavilion line of laptops that comply with the principles of sustainable development. The HP Pavilion 13, HP Pavilion 14, and HP Pavilion 15 feature a vibrant progressive design, color mix, and are HP's first end-user laptops with 11th generation Intel Core processors and Intel Iris Xe graphics.

In the life of representatives of generation Z, the computer plays a crucial role, it is necessary for communication with friends and family, entertainment and distance learning. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, young people spend almost 10 hours a week more at a computer than before, with more than half of them using computers more often than phones. Models in the Pavilion line provide high performance and mobility, as well as advanced entertainment capabilities.

Sustainable development remains a key focus of HP's strategy across the entire personal computer portfolio. Pavilion laptops use recycled ocean plastic, which is used, for example, to make a speaker case. The company estimates that this initiative will avoid about 92,000 plastic bottles entering the ocean or landfills. Boxes and soft fibrous substrates used in the packaging of devices are also 100% made of raw materials obtained in compliance with the standards of sustainable production, and are subject to re-processing. In addition, laptops received EPEAT Silver and Energy Star certificates.

Pavilion models are inspired by art. Thanks to clear lines and carefully designed housing elements, users can easily open the device from either of the three sides. Laptops are equipped with a seamless metal case created using 3D technologies, which made it possible to hide the joints and make the device more aesthetic. In the Pavilion 15 model, the screen-to-chassis ratio (STBR) is 86%, and all three devices have become more compact than previous generation models. The displays received a thin frame on three sides: Pavilion 13 is equipped with a screen with Full HD or Ultra HD resolution, Pavilion 14 and Pavilion 15 - HD or Full HD displays. Devices also support Microsoft HDR streaming and come with a HEVC video compression format on FHD and UHD panels to create a richer and more colorful image.

Models are presented in five color solutions: silver (natural silver), gold (luminous gold) and white (ceramic white) colors; the Pavilion 14 will also be available in pink (tranquil pink), and the Pavilion 15 in all listed colors, as well as in blue (fog blue).

All models of laptops are great for students: they are equipped with a large keyboard in the entire case, a larger, modern and accurate touchpad with multi-touch support for convenient work, as well as an optional fingerprint scanner for safe login.

Whether you're watching your favorite TV shows or learning, Pavilion laptops deliver immersive, immersive visuals with 11th gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics. The Pavilion 14 and Pavilion 15 allow you to install powerful graphics up to the NVIDIA GeForce MX450, and the Pavilion 15 will also come with AMD Ryzen 4000 series mobile processors.

  • High performance: HP Pavilion features long battery life - up to 11.75 hours depending on the model. The 8th generation Intel Core processors or AMD Ryzen mobile processor with Radeon Vega graphics adapter allow you to watch Netflix series, edit photos and interact online with friends and family. To store photos, videos and other content, Pavilion laptops offer up to 512 GB on a solid-state drive or 1 TB on HDD. Options are also available that combine both types of drives.
