Biography

Vladimir was born on November 23, 1956 in Chelyabinsk.

In 1985 he graduated from Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov with the qualification "Journalist."

In 2009 he graduated from the Non-State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education Institute of Economics and Culture with the qualification "Lawyer."

From 1985 to 1986 he worked as a correspondent for the newspaper "Evening Chelyabinsk."

From 1986 to 1991 he conducted the programs "Time, Events, People" and "Man and the Law" on the All-Union Radio.

In 1991, he began working on Central Television of the USSR. He worked until 1997.

In 1997 and 2000 he worked in public and state structures:

  • acted as Director of Public Relations of the Reform International Fund,
  • worked as Deputy Minister of Press and Information of the Moscow Region.

In 2001, he worked as a producer on television. Produced information broadcasting on NTV, the TV channel "Russia." He worked until 2004.

In 2004 and until 2007, he was Director of Public Relations of the Foundation for Intelligent Technologies.

From 2007 to 2016, he served as head of the media interaction department of the Investigative Committee under the prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation.

In 2015 and 2016, he conducted the program "The Investigation Will Show" on Channel One.

In 2016, he received the position of First Deputy General Director of PJSC RusHydro. Oversees issues of interaction with the media, authorities and management of the administrative and economic complex.

In 2017, he joined the board of PJSC RusHydro.

On March 20, 2018, Vladimir Ivanovich Markin worked as a member of the board, first deputy general director of PJSC RusHydro.

On February 19, 2019, he was relieved of the post of First Deputy General Director of RusHydro. He worked at RusHydro as an adviser to the chairman of the board.

He died on October 12, 2021 in Moscow.[1]
