Biography

Alexander was born on June 26, 1941 in Moscow.

In 1968 got an education at the Moscow electrotechnical institute of communication as "an engineer of telecommunication".

Candidate of Technical Sciences.

From 1968 to 1978 worked as the engineer, the lead engineer, the chief of the Timiryazevsky telephone exchange.

From 1978 to 1991 was the head of department of digital transmission systems and switching of the Ministry of Communications of the USSR.

In 1991 and for 1994 worked at a position of the chief of Scientific and technical department and Department of the international cooperation of the Ministry of Communications of the Russian Federation.

From 1994 to 1997 worked at a position of the First Deputy Minister of Communications of the Russian Federation.

In 1997 the chairman of the State Radio Frequency Commissions, telecommunication and informatization is appointed the chairman of the State committee of the Russian Federation on communication and informatization, at the State Committee on Communications of the Russian Federation. Worked for 1999.

In 1998 worked as the deputy manager of board of representatives of the state in JSC Svyazinvest.

In 1998 and for 1999 directed board of representatives of the state in JSC Svyazinvest.

1999: Chairman of the board of directors Multiregional Transit Telecom

In 1999 there was the First Deputy CEO of JSC Multiregional Transit Telecom, a chairman of the board of directors of MTT.

Since 1999 works as the president of Association 3G (since 2006 it is renamed into the Infocommunication Union).

In 2007 became the president of a tender committee on issue of licenses 3G in Russia.

For April 23, 2018 Alexander Evgenyevich Krupnov works at a position of the president of PJSC VimpelCom.
