ESET improves skills of cybersecurity specialists using Oracle Ravello Cloud Service

On April 23, 2018 the ESET company announced use of cloud infrastructure (IaaS) of Oracle Ravello Cloud Service for holding practical lessons and laboratory classes within training of security experts in all Russia.

The ESET academy – training center of the company – offers partners and customers rates and trainings for advanced training and certification of cybersecurity specialists. That listeners could perfect the purchased skills in practice, the company expanded rates with occupations in the 'hands-on lab' format, and for their carrying out selected a cloud service of Oracle Ravello Cloud Service. The format of training is available both in classes, and in the form of online trainings on security. The functionality of IaaS-service allows to create in the automatic mode a set of copies of virtual stands on the basis of the predetermined list of stands, rates and textbooks that minimizes the organizational, finance and time expenditure connected with preparation of practical tasks and tests.

The choice of ESET company was influenced by such advantages of Oracle IaaS Cloud as:

• an opportunity to unroll virtual laboratory in a public cloud without the need for creation of own data center;
• scalability;
• the deployment which is not requiring settings and changes;
• payment after delivery of use of service.
