Belzhilproyekt created the project of reconstruction of the building of hospital in Minsk using the Renga bim-system

The project of reconstruction of the building of management of military hospital in Minsk was created by RUP "Institute "Belzhilproyekt" with the help BIM- systems Renga. On April 27, 2018 the company reported about it Renga Software.
Prerequisites of the Project
RUP "Belzhilproyekt Institute is engaged in design of a major repair and reconstruction of subjects to construction engineering and cultural and community appointment and also historical building. Earlier the staff of institute projected in the two-dimensional AutoCAD system. Approval of the executed projects took with time several weeks, and sometimes and months. Customers often faced difficulties with reading of the drawings, and on correction received from them the note a large number of time left. The visualization of a 3D model giving the chance most in details to provide the project to the client and to quickly make changes to it, became the main premises for transition to design on technology of information modeling.
Project Tasks
An opportunity to quickly master a system and to start quickly its use was one of the main criteria when choosing the software product for three-dimensional design. Also a system had to close primary partitions of design with an opportunity to receive necessary drawings and to visualize the end result, to have the simple scheme of licensing and available cost. And at the same time to enter the list of the systems for information modeling permitted by the Ministry of architecture of Republic of Belarus.
Project Progress
Specialists of the enterprise found all these criteria in the Russian Renga BIM system. To be convinced that a system will close the tasks facing designers, the company management made the decision to execute a pilot project. For a pilot project the building of the main military clinical hospital No. 432 was selected from the city of Minsk. Designers "Belzhilproyekt" were faced by a task to develop a building 3D model on the basis of which it reconstruction will be carried out further. Architects, designers, internal systems engineers and electricians entered into the working group of the project. The free licenses Renga and KOMPAS-3D were provided to participants of pilot group for trial operation.
Using KOMPAS-3D and its construction applications of Zhizneobospecheniye: OV and Power supply: ES/EM were closed sections on design of internal systems. After two-day training in work in software products, specialists Belzhilproyekt started creation of the project.
In the Renga Architecture BIM system they performed the following works:
- The architectural 3D model of the building is created;
- Windows and doors are worked in details out;
- False ceilings are designed;
- Entrance groups and landings are designed;
- Necessary furniture and the equipment is placed;
- Balconies and barriers are worked out.
In the Renga Structure BIM system:
- The rafter systems under a building roof are created;
- Load-carrying structures of overlappings are designed.
In the KOMPAS-3D application of Zhizneobospecheniye: OV engineers designed systems heating and ventilation, and in the Power supply application: ES/EM are the electric networks.
Project Results
In the Renga BIM system the 3D model of the building of military clinical hospital is created and the project documentation according to all sections according to SPDS is received. During the work in a system errors in the initial drawings created in the AutoCAD software product were found. At accomplishment of a pilot project of Renga closed all tasks of architectural and design departments Belzhilproyekt. Tasks of other divisions were solved using the KOMPAS-3D system and its customized construction applications.
The created model will be transferred to construction company. Reconstruction of the building will begin summer of 2018.
"For work in the Renga BIM system we did not need to conduct multi-day courses for training of designers. The intuitive program with the Russian-language interface allowed to master quickly enough a design philosophy on BIM technology. Using Renga we estimated advantages of design on technology of information modeling. In a short time executed a pilot project in a system.
