The Central Research and Development Institute of Robotics and Technical Cybernetics (TsNII RTK) is the state scientific center of the Russian Federation. The Institute has a developed research and design and technological base, scientific and technical personnel, modern test stands and experimental production.

Key areas of development of scientific and technical activities:

  • Creation of mobile robotic complexes and transport and manipulation systems of various environments
  • Intelligent control systems for robotic complexes and their groupings

History

1981: Conversion to TsNII RTK

In 1981, the Special Design Bureau of Technical Cybernetics was transformed into the Central Research Institute of RTK.

1968: Creation

TsNII RTK was created on January 29, 1968 as the Special Design Bureau of Technical Cybernetics (OKB TK) at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute (now Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University).
