Rostec and Rosseti will be engaged in development of digital networks in the Yaroslavl region

The State Corporation Rostec, Rosseti and the Government of the Yaroslavl region signed on May 24, 2018 the tripartite agreement about cooperation within which in the region the intellectual innovation cluster of digital networks will be created and also the project of production of intelligent metering devices of the electric power is implemented.
The document the governor of the Yaroslavl region Dmitry Mironov, the head signed Vega concern (enters into Ruselectronics holding of State Corporation Rostec) Vyacheslav Mikheyev and the CEO of IDGC of Centre (enters into Rosseti) Oleg Isaev.
Project objective — optimization of work of an electric grid, ensuring regular power supply of consumers of the Yaroslavl region due to obtaining exact and operational information, increase in controllability and implementation of the automated intellectual electricity metering.
Digitalization of power economy of the cities and regions of Russia — the ambitious state project which will allow to increase quality and reliability of power supply. The Yaroslavl region is actually the first region in which the intelligent system will give the chance to ordinary consumers, business and the state customers to manage energy consumption more effectively, including to distribute capacities at peak loads. Important and the fact that the difficult "smart" equipment will be made at the Russian enterprises of State Corporation Rostec — the governor of the Yaroslavl region Dmitry Mironov emphasized. |
Also, under the terms of the agreement, the State Corporation Rostec and Rosseti in cooperation with the Government of the Yaroslavl region until the end of 2019 implement the investment project "Production of Intelligent Metering Devices of the Electric Power" in the territory of the region. Within the investment project it is supposed to provide production volume of smart power meters in the amount of not less than 300 thousand units a year.
It will allow to expand product assortment, the State Corporation Rostec made by the enterprises in the Yaroslavl region including which is not presented at the market and to provide import substitution in this sphere — the head of Vega Concern Vyacheslav Mikheyev considers. |
Besides, the signed agreement assumes development of scientific and technical partnership with higher educational institutions and scientific and technical collectives of the Yaroslavl region in the field of development and deployment of the advanced digital technologies, carrying out industry expertize of implementable Researches and Development, the made innovation products and preparation of the profile personnel.
