Delta Electronics provided the DPC UPS of the Yaroslavl division of the Russian Railway

On July 3, 2018 it became known that the Delta Electronics company provided with uninterruptible power supply units of DPC of the Yaroslavl division of Russian Railways.

The solutions Delta Electronics for ensuring uninterrupted power in structures of the Russian Railway began to be implemented on objects in Moscow and St. Petersburg more than 7 years ago. In 2017 the Yaroslavl division of the Russian Railway within the general reconstruction carried out upgrade of DPC for the purpose of updating of the equipment and increase in power of the UPS. The organization held a competition as a result of which the decision on the Delta Electronics UPS installation was made, the Foresight TechnologyS company acted as the partner in delivery and installation of equipment.

Installation of sources without interruption of activity of DPC became feature of the project: the UPS installation did not influence processing and data storage. Uninterruptible power supply units dismantled and set in pairs, also translated loading parts in process of completion of installation.

As the technological solution modular Modulon DPH UPSes with a power of 400 kVA which are suitable for implementation in infrastructure of the DPC of the average size requiring maximum efficiency at smaller operating costs were selected. Modulon DPH UPSes allow to create completely failsafe system based on internal reservation which meets the strict requirements for reliability and is capable to be scaled flexibly. Modulon DPH has efficiency indicators providing energy saving and decrease in operating costs, and it is possible to replace the main modules and components in the mode of hot swap. Data of the UPS allow to carry out pro-active diagnostics and to detect faults of fans and switching devices at the earliest stage.

We work hard years with Delta Electronics company, implemented many successful projects, and upgrade of the UPS on the Yaroslavl division of the Russian Railway became one of them.
