On Inoventica network the equipment of DWDM "Volga" is installed

On July 20, 2018 it became known that the Russian IT operator Inoventica and T8 company signed the delivery contract of the equipment "T8" provided by the coherent Volga DWDM system. The delivery scope made 40 million rubles at the catalog prices.

Within the project on different sections of a backbone network of Inoventica about three thousand kilometers long the equipment of DWDM "Volga" with TD-100E transponders developed by T8 company which allowed to organize additional communication channels total capacity of 600 Gbps was installed.

In 2012 Inoventica became the trunk operator in Europe who implemented approach in the organization of trunk infrastructure which assumes sharing of the equipment of two producers. Then Inoventica together with ADV Consulting tested signal transmission at the level of 40 Gbps using the equipment Ciena over own DWDM of Siemens Nokia network.

For July, 2018 the alien wave technology is successfully applied on Inoventica network (more than 13 thousand km.) for operational providing 100 Gbps to customers of channels using the equipment "T8" over own DWDM of Siemens Nokia network.

Use of alien wave technology allows Inoventica to minimize capital and operating costs and also to provide to the customer optimum technical characteristics of channels.

If earlier the cost of use of allocate circuit capacity of 1 Gbps for communication reservation, for example between offices in Moscow and Novosibirsk, was about 4 million rubles, capacity of 10 Gbps – about 20 million rubles, and communication channels of 100 Gbps were not at all, then now, cost for allocated channels fell by the same capacity in tens of times. So, the market value of the channel of 1 Gbps between Moscow and Novosibirsk is about 200 thousand rubles, 10 Gbps - 900 thousand rubles, and the communication channel the speed of 100 Gbps can be rented for 4 million rubles.

Practice of work on others wavelength is not single for us, it is the fulfilled technology. Characteristics of the Volga DWDM platform easily allow to integrate it on the network built on the foreign equipment. Volga provides good indicators, at the same time the cost of operating costs of our equipment is lower, than at our competitors.
