Content

On September 11, 2018 the 1C company announced that specialists of Infosoft company implemented the "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8 CORP" system in S7 Technics holding. A system helps the management of holding to plan quickly loading of personnel, to predict costs for wage fund and to estimate losses of working time at production process.

Prerequisites of the Project

The S7 Technics holding is horizontally integrated holding of maintenance of aircrafts in Russia and the CIS. The personnel of the enterprise for 2018 make more than 2500 specialists. The HR department of S7 Technics processes more than 1500 personnel documents a month. The salary in holding is calculated taking into account wage rates according to qualification categories and classes of employees, allowances and additional awards. At all enterprises the summed-up time recording is applied. There are employees working in harmful working conditions, calculation of additional insurance premiums and accounting of an experience for the employees occupied at works with early pension is conducted. Payments to former employees and other individuals are performed, account of extra salary income is kept. For control of admission of employees to works with certain types of aircrafts it is necessary to keep account and to control validity periods of the certificates confirming qualification of contractors. According to the concept on development of qualification of personnel passing of training courses is planned.

Earlier for personnel records and payroll in the company several information bases were used (the for each legal entity). Prior to the beginning of the project on implementation of 1C specialists of the Customer carried out work on formation of uniform approach to rules of payroll and methodology of conducting personnel records. The information system used at the enterprise did not provide accounting on the developed methodology, distinctions had printed forms of personnel orders. There were difficulties with maintenance of the existing information system in current status owing to what there were risks of emergence of errors when forming of the regulated reporting. Because of heterogeneity of data the management obtained information on personnel structure and allocation of costs on compensation in different formats that complicated process of consolidation of data.

Project Objectives

The information system which would allow to implement the developed rules of conducting personnel records, payroll and other settlings with personnel, to reduce time for formation of the regulated reporting, to optimize planning of expenses on compensation became necessary for the enterprise. Besides, it was required to provide operational data acquisition for the analysis of allocation of costs on personnel when forming cost value of services in repair of aircrafts.

Project Progress

For the solution of assigned tasks the "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8 CORP" system was selected. The reference legal entity which rules of accounting took as a basis for implementation was selected. The Infosoft company became the partner in implementation. The project was executed using Scrum-technologies of agile development of the software. Design process was broken into several stages (sprints). Based on each sprint the accounting model reflected in a system on the basis of these end-to-end control examples was developed. At the exit of each sprint the management received a prototype of future system and even before implementation accurately represented as a system will look and how will solve problems of the company. As a result the project was executed in 5 months, a system is implemented in divisions of holding in Novosibirsk, Moscow and Mineralnye Vody.

Project Results

According to the results of the project all types of payments and deduction in legal entities of holding are standardized. The salary for more than 2500 employees by 100 types of charges and 15 deduction types is calculated according to uniform standards. Exact calculation of a remaining balance of holidays, including, additional vacations for harmful working conditions is saved.

Key project deliverables for September, 2018:

  • The uniform methodology of payroll and conducting HR records is implemented on the basis of reference accounting. Printed forms of personnel administrative documents and documents on payroll calculation are unified. Such approach allowed to reduce errors at document creation and to exercise control on standardization of documents. The uniform data structure facilitated their consolidation by preparation of the reporting to the management of holding.
  • Considerably payroll calculation accelerated. For the most numerous enterprise of holding in which staff - 1.5 thousand employees, time for payroll calculation in a month decreased from 2 to several o'clock minutes.
  • The flexible tool for cost analysis on the salary and financial planning of staff expenses is received. A system issues more than 100 different reports for HR department, settlement group and specialists in the regulated reporting in different cuts (on categories of positions, divisions, positions, categories of personnel). Speed of preparation of reports meets requirements of business. The management of S7 Technics holding received the effective tool for planning of labor resources, operational cost analysis on personnel and efficiency evaluations of work of employees.
