The first BIT integrated accounting of 6 poultry farms in the single accounting system for the Cherkizovo group

On September 17, 2018 the company the First BIT reported that as a result of implementation of the software solution "1C: Management of poultry farm 8" the Cherkizovo group integrated accounting of 6 geographically distributed poultry farms in one information base with uniform accounting principles and managements.

Before start of the project industry account in the Cherkizovo group was kept in a system based on "1C:Enterprise 8: Accounting of a livestock". Exchange between "1C was configured: Accounting of a livestock" and the accounting systems on poultry farms: 4 poultry farms "1C: Enterprise Accounting 8", 2 poultry farms - "used 1C: Management of poultry farm". For data of information on the operational reporting employees unloaded information in Excel. All accounting of slaughter was carried out also in Excel. Terms of formation of the operational reporting in Excel were 1 day. It led to the fact that at non-automated areas there was a risk of emergence of errors of a human factor that could affect quality of management of work of the enterprises considerably.

Besides, there was no control of write-off of costs for utilization, a veterinary research and accounting of losses. In the company there was also no unified approach to the directions of write-off of costs. At the enterprise there was no uniform normative reference information (NRI) on poultry farms. There were no unified approaches to management of NSI. Business indicators of the company did not correspond to planned.

The Cherkizovo group made the decision to integrate 6 geographically distributed poultry farms in one information base with uniform accounting principles and managements. The project was implemented by two project teams of The First BIT company – the central office in Moscow and office in Chelyabinsk. As a basis of a system the industry software product "was taken 1C: Management of poultry farm 8".

The purposes and project tasks were designated as follows:

1. Consolidation of industry accounting of 6 poultry farms entering into group.
2. Unification and automation of industry business processes in the companies.
3. Leaving from maintaining the operational reporting in Excel.

Feature of the project it is possible to call implementation of a major problem: with the maximum preserving of standard functionality of industry solution "1C: Management of poultry farm 8" separate accounting and management on 6 poultry farms were joint are brought to the uniform principles. Now the information system provides parallel cost accounting on 6 poultry farms in one information base. The directions of write-off of costs and cost accounting on all platforms are unified. NSI of six poultry farms, including such key reference books as the nomenclature, nomenclature groups, cost items are joint.

Key project deliverables:

• production accounting on slaughter was automated from 0 to 100%;
• labor productivity of employees of treasury increased by 15%;
• speed of formation of the weekly data necessary for closing of month increased by 80%;
• time for obtaining the operational reporting (online) and the monthly management reporting from 1 day till 1 o'clock was reduced;
• report generation on deviations on a container and spices in 1 minute, earlier the employee collected the report manually till 1.5 o'clock;
• cost accounting of the turned-out products with detailing to cost items and the used materials is implemented;
• number of staff on administration of NSI was reduced by 10%;
• the number of incidents on NSI was reduced by 50%;
• purchase costs decreased by 5%;
• costs for support of an information system decreased by 15%.
