2019: Creation of Datana company

On April 3, 2019 the LANIT Group announced creation of Datana company which will be engaged in digitalization of industrial enterprises, using Industries 4.0 technologies. Read more here.

Datana is a product on the basis of artificial intelligence for management technology and production processes at the enterprises. A system contains the preconfigured mathematical models trained in the course of its work at real data.

The Datana command sees advantage of a product for the enterprises first of all in optimization of technology processes. The mathematical model configured on a certain unit or in the automated mode through service of recommendations for the operator, or through integration into the PCS, conducts technology process optimum for achievement of the maximum quality at the minimum expenditure of resources. A system will be useful to solving of tasks of maintenance and repair of the equipment on a status, but not in the standard scheduled preventive mode. It will allow to lower a share of accidents and to save means of the customer. Also the solution is suitable for control of defects, monitoring of the equipment and increase in accuracy of operational scheduling and logistics.

2018

The LANIT company and Institute of life-long education of National University of Science and Technology " MISIS " announced on October 3, 2018 agreement signature about cooperation within the Datana project.

Project objective – to make production at the enterprises of ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy more effective. The solution Datana uses predictive analytics and artificial intelligence in combination with deep industry expertize.

Datana builds forecast mathematical models of technology processes. In real time the operator of production receives recommendations about management of the modes. It is supposed that the solution will be applied to control of defects, consumption of materials and energy resources and also for monitoring of indicators of technology process – all this as it is supposed, will lead to economy at the enterprises.

The LANIT and Institute of life-long education are going to be engaged in joint development and examination of mathematical algorithms Datana, to interact in joint projects of consulting and implementing solution on production sites of metallurgical holdings. Agreement parties will be engaged in joint promotion of a product in the market.

From MISIS leading experts in area of steelmaking production and mathematical modeling of technology processes will work with the project. From LANIT the Datana business direction supervises Department of digital solutions.

Development of Datana began at the end of 2017 as the R'n'D-project of department of digital solutions of LANIT company.
