2018: Start of production of domestic motherboards in Technopolice GS

The Depo Computers company and GS Group holding announced on October 17, 2018 start of production of the Russian server motherboards of Depo in the innovation cluster Technopolice GS (Mr. Gusev, the Kaliningrad region).

Production of the first motherboard started on October 10, 2018

As told TAdviser in Depo Computers, server motherboards of Depo of the Russian production will be used for release of a line of the servers "Depo Storm" which are used to high-performance computing and processing of large volumes of data, creation of DPCs, giperkonvergenty platforms, infrastructure of various "smart" solutions.

Production of server motherboards of Depot in the innovation cluster Technopolice GS will become the first stage in implementation of the agreement on strategic partnership signed by the companies on October 9, 2018. The agreement provides production of ADP equipment, peripheral and telecommunication equipment on production lines of GS Group holding within the strategic plan on development of domestic information and communication technologies.

Start of production of server motherboards of Depo in the Kaliningrad region – the next stage in increase in level of localization of the Russian ADP equipment. Production of motherboards passed the examination of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and as of October, 2018 we are in process of obtaining the conclusion of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation on a line of the servers "Depo Storm" about compliance to the criteria of "otechestvennost" set by order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 719. It will allow to propose to our customers the Russian server solutions for creation of high-performance and energy efficient data processing centers — Victor Urusov, the vice president of Depo Computers company commented on an event.

Capacities of the integrated enterprises of Technopolice GS allow to organize mass production of various modern electronic devices and a component in short terms. So, we can produce more than 30 thousand motherboards monthly. The cluster clearly demonstrates that the Russian enterprises of electronic industry are capable to satisfy the needs of the domestic market for ADP equipment. And cooperation between GS Group and Depo Computers is a striking example of cooperation of the innovation enterprises which is necessary for development of digital economy in our country — the director of strategic projects and communications of GS Group Andrey Bezrukov is convinced.

On the next stages of cooperation Depo Computers and GS Group holding are going to start productions of motherboards for client devices, electronic a component for the communication equipment and peripheral devices.
