Rostec and the Government of Altai Krai will develop jointly digital economy in the region

On October 18, 2018 the State Corporation Rostec reported that it will assist Altai Krai in development of digital economy and implementation of technologies of "the smart city". The agreement on it was signed by the governor of the region Victor Tomenko and the industrial director of a radio-electronic cluster of State Corporation Rostec Sergey Sakhnenko.

It is planned that changes will affect spheres of industrial production, agriculture, health care, education, tourism, the public and municipal administration. The organizations of a radio-electronic cluster of State Corporation Rostec – Schwab, Automatic equipment, Ruselectronics, the National Center of Informatization (NCI) will be involved in partner projects.

The corporation is ready to offer the region assistance in project implementation "The safe city", "The smart city", Smart school, "Smart power" and also projects on digitalization of a regional health care system.

The parties will also study possibilities of joint work within the territories of the advancing social and economic development (TASED) operating in Altai Krai. In particular, the potential for cooperation increase of the parties in the field of production of radio electronics and IT is discussed.

Among the possible directions of cooperation there is implementation of "intellectual" power network equipment, the advanced monitoring systems, energy efficient outside lighting, the "smart" traffic light equipment. In the region the modern situational center collecting all up-to-date information from places online can be also created.

Our solutions reduce accident rate by 80%, increase capacity of roads by 15%, reduce to 50% energy costs on street lighting, considerably improve the level of public security. In general they increase effective management of municipal economies and level of comfort of life of local population. For coordination of cooperation and effective interaction of Altai Krai and State corporation the project office based on the National center of informatization will be created.
