2020: Ariba SAP implementation
The Biocad company with the help of SAP implementation of Ariba optimized purchasing process and reduced a purchasing cycle by 10-15%. The company Deloitte, CIS acted as the partner in implementation. It became known on October 1, 2020.
The main objective of Biocad - to increase efficiency of purchases and to reduce costs, to create the end-to-end transparent scenario from requirement before the choice of the supplier and registration of the agreement, having increased thus the speed and rationality of decision-making on this matter. It was important to use the uniform instrument of vendor interaction where would be performed: registration, qualification on categories, participation in procurement procedures, assessment of activity of the supplier. Before such the integrated tool was absent, behind observance of regulations was controlled manually along with procurement procedures, collecting of the reporting was also manually carried out, and transactions were duplicated in several systems.
With Ariba SAP implementation all strategic purchases are carried out to Biocad in a single system with automatic observance the politician of the company now, verification process and qualifications of suppliers is unified, control of costs became simpler, the routine, often repeated transactions are minimized and in general the speed of holding procurement procedures and collecting of the necessary, correct reporting grew. All this allowed category managers to concentrate less on routine transactions and to focus a look on strategic objectives of purchasing function. Besides, all procurement procedures are published on the website now that allowed Biocad to expand base of suppliers.
