Complex business process automation
On November 27, 2018 Corus Consulting Group announced project completion on complex business process automation in the largest distributor of products of Henkel in Russia to Sang company.
Long time for automation of the main business processes of "SANG" used independently developed IT solution. Owing to actively upcoming business of the distributor and a large number of the efforts necessary for maintenance of working capacity and development of the existing system, the management of "SANG" made the decision on implementation of a modern information system capable to increase the accuracy and transparency of business processes and in general to improve controllability of the company. For the solution of these tasks a flexible and high-performance ERP system of Microsoft Dynamics AX with the included industry solution for distribution business was selected.
For such large distributor as 'SANG' with a wide branch network and constant pressure from producers, it is important to react quickly to the slightest market changes, offering the necessary products in required volume and opening other activities. During the project in Microsoft Dynamics AX such functional units as were automated:
- management of partners,
- assortment management,
- sales,
- maintaining agreements,
- merchandising and accounting of goods,
- intra holding transactions,
- reservation,
- claims activities,
- transactions with own goods,
- accounting and separation of stock balance on groups of goods and pricing,
- management of the distributed structure of legal entities is optimized.
The created accounting system maintains a large number of integration with the internal information systems "SANG":
- system of 1C,
- system of a business intelligence and mobile trade,
- systems of warehouse logistics, control of transport and demand forecasting.
Thanks to the big involvement of a project team and company management into the project, we managed to construct a powerful and scalable system which will help "SANG" to implement successfully standing before - the company of business objective: it is active to expand a product line and to develop other types of business. Automation of warehouse processes
On October 26, 2018 the CORUS Consulting company announced project completion on automation of warehouse processes in Sang company. System implementation based on 1C:WMS was executed less than in two months without stopping of business processes of the customer.
Due to transfer of business processes of "Sang" to the ERP system on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 platform audit, optimization of warehouse processes and complex restart of the WMS system were required for the distributor. For carrying out inspection specialists of Corus Consulting were invited.
System 1C:WMS proved as the reliable solving of tasks of management of a warehouse which is completely conforming to requirements of SANG company for performance, fault tolerance and opportunities of adaptation under requirements of business.
Within the first stage examination of the organization of work of a warehouse and warehouse processes was conducted. As a result of audit the project team of integrator could reveal both strengths, and growth points where completions of the current processes and the WMS system were required. Accurately built effective processes, the minimum share tovaropoter in a total turnover of products and the high level of the service rendered by a warehouse are among the first. The organization of warehouse topology and storage systems at the time of inspection completely corresponded to relevant business needs, but could not join in in the future growth, emergence of the new directions and increase in amount and complexity of cargo processing.
During the project the existing WMS system taking into account the revealed problems and the created recommendations was finished, integration into Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and a management system for TMS transport is executed. In further project plans – deployment of the WMS system on other distribution centers of the company.

According to representatives of Corus Consulting according to the results of the project it was succeeded to receive the flexible management tool logistic processes, capable to support permanent expansion of activity of the distributor.
