"Globe" built the digital base based on SAP

On November 2, 2018 the SAP CIS company announced that the network of Globus hypermarkets completed SAP implementation of for Retail in the Russian divisions. The created system integrated employees from 13 shops, the distribution center and coordination office in uniform digital space. Thanks to the solution it was succeeded to reduce time of formation of supplier orders for 34%, and costs for inventory - by 30%. The Novardis company acted as the partner in implementation.

The international network of Globus hypermarkets implements a large-scale implementation project of the unified solution of business management based on SAP for Retail for all the divisions in Germany, Russia and the Czech Republic. The project objective in Russia was to create a flexible modern system which will become the base for further initiatives of the company and will help its development in the future.

In a project deliverable the IT architecture of the company was significantly updated, complete data on all processes of all divisions are collected in a single system, and access to them is provided in real time. Thanks to a system the transparency of business processes also increased. The process of the autoorder implemented using the SAP F&R system covers all range of the goods passing through the distribution center. During the project the purpose on transfer of paper document flow to an electronic format was implemented that allowed to refuse paper carriers where it is not required by the legislation. Changes concerned also promotion activities: according to the results of the project they are planned in SAP Promotion Management and automatically created in SAP for Retail.
