Orange Business Services will deploy the managed solution SD-WAN in the Middle East

On December 13, 2018 the international service -provider Orange Business Services announced cooperation with Majid Al Futtaim Retail (MAF), the operator of food network Carrefour in 15 countries Near East, Africa and Asia. Orange will deploy the managed solution SD-WAN which will allow to accelerate connection of 250 shops to cloud solutions for smart retail – for example, of solutions SAP for e-commerce.

The global computer network of the company optimum is suitable for SD-WAN deployment: Majid Al Futtaim Retail for December, 2018 has 7.5 million registered users only in the UAE, many of which expect that the company will implement new methods of service of buyers. In particular, the omnichannel strategy of the retailer should provide a possibility of seamless customer interaction on the website, in messengers or by e-mail. The software-defined network SD-WAN will allow to connect on a centralized basis shops to such cloud applicaions, having accelerated their deployment.
