Dixy connected shops of Victoria network to Alipay payment system

On January 18, 2019 it became known that the company "Dixy" completed connection of shops "Victoria" to to payment system Alipay. At the end of 2018 on the card of mobile application Alipay all shops "Victoria", "Victoria quarter" and networks of economy class "Cheap" appeared. Thanks to what users of Alipay, the majority of whom – the citizens of China and the Chinese tourists and expats who are constantly living in Russia, will be able quickly to learn about goods and stocks of Victoria on the mother tongue and to pay purchases with a usual method. An opportunity to pay purchases using Alipay is implemented in the shops of retail chain stores located both in Moscow and the Moscow region, and in Kaliningrad and the Kaliningrad region. Earlier the company already connected Dixy shops to payment system, and successful experience allowed to scale the project.

The Dixy retail network in 10 months since project launch (the first connections began in February, 2018) recorded tens of thousands of transactions through Alipay. The average bill at this payment method is on average 5% higher than checks of other payment systems. More often than other goods users of Alipay buy the Russian sweets and pastries among which corn sticks, cookies, a zephyr are in the greatest demand.^[1]
