2019: Release of a data collection terminal
On February 13, 2019 the CSI company announced release of own data collection terminal. It is intended for work in small warehouses and also trade in a prikassovy zone, transactions in a trading floor, a courier delivery. The device compact and easy, at the same time with big, 4-inch, the screen. Special focus — on quality of scanning: the data collection terminal of CSI surely reads out even damaged or polluted 2D - barcodes, the producer claims.
For the terminal selected the scanning module Honeywell N6603 from CSI company. Thanks to it the device scans up to 120 barcodes a minute from a distance to 40 cm, emphasized in CSI.
According to the statement of the producer, buttons of the keyboard of the terminal are located so that they were convenient to use one hand several hours. Miniature device: its size — 15.5 x 7.2 x 2.4 cm, screen diagonal — 4 inches. Thanks to a magnolia — strong and light metal alloy — the terminal weighs less than 300 grams and is steady against damages. A class of protection against dust and moisture — IP65. The screen from chemically tempered glass of Asahi Glass is not afraid of blows and scratches.
As noted in CSI, a program part is constructed based on operating system Android 5.1 which opens a wide choice ready business applications. Specialists of CSI cleaned a system from the excess preset programs to unload on RAM — the amount of 1 GB, according to the producer, enough for a full-fledged work with necessary applications. The device it is integrated with demanded solutions for automation of the tovarouchyot, among which "Mobile SMARTS: Shop 15" from "Cleverence" and Airy from "IT Premier".
