ER-Telecom Holding is going to direct up to half a billion rubles to digitalization of Tula region

On February 14, 2019 the ER-Telecom Holding company announced that it is going to direct up to half a billion rubles to digitalization of Tula region.

According to the company, the president of JSC ER-Telecom Holding Andrey Kuzyaev and the governor of Tula region Alexey Dyumin signed the agreement on development of telecommunication infrastructure, digital economy and the comfortable urban environment of the region.

JSC ER-Telecom Holding is going to begin testing and provision of services based on industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) for objects of power and housing and communal services of Tula region. In the territory of Tula and Novomoskovsk it is supposed to unroll network of base stations of the LoRaWAN standard. Also, integration of elements of the Smart City system into the existing regional IT infrastructure is planned. It will allow to increase its reliability and efficiency.

To implementation of the announced projects in the territory of Tula region it is going to direct about half a billion rubles.

Our arrangements with the governor of Tula region Alexey Dyumin are not just beautiful words on paper. We are together interested in that one of the regions, next to Moscow, did not concede to the capital in terms of access for its inhabitants to modern digital services and services in anything.
