For February, 2019 Petrov Yury Borisovich is the Assistant Secretary of transport of the Russian Federation of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

As of February, 2019 executes the following job responsibilities as the adviser to the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation:

• Performs preparation of materials for the Minister, will organize control and interacts with departments of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, federal service and the federal agencies subordinated to the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation (Rosaviatsiya, Rosavtodor, Roszheldor, Rosmorrechflot) on questions:
  • international field of activity of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation;
  • the working groups of transport dialog Russia - EU bilateral cooperation, partnership of "Northern measurement" in the field of transport and logistics Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the countries - participants BRICS, EuropeAsia the Forum "-" (ASEM), the International Transport Forum (ITF).

• Systematizes information on topical issues of foreign economic activity in the field of a transport complex about work of the intergovernmental commissions and the Coordination Transport Meeting (CTM) of the CIS headed by the Minister.
• Performs the code of offers (materials) prepared by departments according to competence for meetings and working trips of the Minister.
