"East-West" passed to EDMS Docsvision

On March 18, 2019 Digital Design reported that in the company "East-West" transition from an old electronic document management system on EDMS Docsvision 5.4 came to the end. The Digital Design company became the contractor of the project.

The head office of Vostok-Zapad company is located in Moscow, and its branch network covers all territory of Russia — from Krasnodar to Vladivostok. To simplify process of implementation and use of an installed system, the company decided to refuse the desktop solution EDMS and to completely switch to the web client.

The main task of a system — to provide automation of contractual and internal document flow. The main volume of documents are agreements with partners — it is caused by specifics of activity of the company. "East-West" works with a large number of partners – more than 10,000, and daily performs over 3500 deliveries in all territory of the Russian Federation.

The majority of documents go through several stages of approval, sales representatives, specialists of purchasing departments, MTS, lawyers, economists and also security service specialists and internal control are involved in this process. A system is necessary for simplification of interaction of employees at all stages — from initiation of check of partners before approval and agreement signature by the simple electronic signature implemented by means of EDMS. Except agreements, in a system approval of requests for an expense of means, the statement of powers of attorney and other internal documents is performed.

Specialists of Digital Design company provided training for employees "East-West" and continue to give technical support of a system. System administrators of Vostok-Zapad company will be engaged in further development of functionality of EDMS Docsvision.
