The DOCKER will pass the 5th International festival of documentary cinema in five cities of Russia

From April 3 to April 8, 2019 in Moscow and four more cities of Russia there will pass the International festival of documentary cinema the DOCKER showing the most outstanding, relevant and noticeable samples of documentary cinema which are selected from different corners of light. 2019 anniversary for the Docker — he is 5 years old. It is symbolical that for the first time the festival will take place at the same time in five cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Yaroslavl. The main platform — the Moscow movie center October where guests from around the world — authors of participating movies, members of the international jury and experts of the industry will gather. LANIT acted as the official partner of a festival.
Audience will be able to see and discuss together with authors from around the world more than 50 new movies which will be shown in our country for the first time - it is the international and Russian prime ministers. At Opening of a festival the sign world premiere will be held: the grandiose German film "Russia from the Sky" will become for many domestic audience this revelation — within 9 months world-best aero-cameramen removed Russia from the most unexpected foreshortenings and geographical points. On scope the movie can be compared to Luc Besson and Ian Artyusa-Bertrán's epoch-making House. The uniqueness and unique intonation of "Russia from the sky" will be given by a voice of the actor Victor Sukhorukov.
In the program of a festival it will be possible to see movies of the most different directions: from the poetic film narration to social blockbusters, a newsreel and a mokyyumentara to an art house and popular scientific cinema, from classics to experimental non-standard forms, from intimate movies portraits to monumental pictures travel. These are prize-winners and participants of such most prestigious film festivals as the Cannes, Berlin and Venice Film Festivals, "Sandens", Locarno, IDFA (which is also called "documentary Cannes") and others.
The documentary films became really noticeable. Sometimes it does not concede game neither on staginess, nor on language force. Began to reckon with it really. Surprises nobody any more that documentary and game cinema competes in the same tenders of prestigious film festivals. The festival consists of two main competitive programs — complete and short meter and also special sections: "Let IT Dok!" — the competitive program of movies, only on all world festival space, about IT, "DOKer Kids" — the film program for children and family viewing, "DOK Therapy" (a festival innovation) which all demonstrations will take place with the subsequent discussion with psychologists and psychotherapists. And, as usual, within the festival there will pass the Industrial program including master classes and debatable panels.
In the Let IT Dok program!, which in 2016 the organizing committee of a festival organized together with LANIT, the best documentaries about information technologies and their influence on modern society entered. In 5 years of the existence the International DOCKER Film Festival was attended by more than 40 thousand viewers. Over 250 best documentary pictures of the last of different parts of the world were shown. The festival was attended by more than 100 guests from around the world: these are directors of competitive movies, judges, experts.
"DOCKER" — completely independent festival which is not receiving the government financial aid. In 2019 some demonstrations of a festival take place with assistance of the Italian, French, Polish cultural centers, Goethe Institute in Moscow, Embassies of the USA, programs "KARO. Art". The main financial expenses on holding the Festival are undertaken by organizers.
