Sphere-Farm for April 2019 is a full member of the cluster "Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology and Biomedicine" of the Kaluga Region, which, by decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of March 6, 2013 No. 188, was assigned the status of a pilot innovative territorial cluster of the Russian Federation.

The main goals of the company are:

• Production of sterile drugs providing import substitution.
• Release of peritoneal dialysis kits.
• Release of blood substitutes widely used in medical practice.

History

2023: Debts reached 2.49 billion rubles

In December 2023, the Sphere-Pharm pharmaceutical complex, located in the Vorsino industrial park in the village of Dobrino, Kaluga Region, was put up for auction at an initial price of 2.15 billion rubles. The relevant information is published on the website of the Russian Auction House.

The plant put up for sale includes buildings and structures of pharmaceutical production with a total area of ​ ​ 17 thousand square meters. m, two land plots with a total area of ​ ​ 3 hectares, as well as movable property (highly specialized and electronic equipment; instruments, inventory) and intangible assets. The factory produces solutions of glucose 5%, dextrose 5%, amino acids, as well as a solution for transtonal dialysis.

Pharmaceutical complex "Sphere-Pharm" put up for auction at an initial price of 2.15 billion rubles

The state development corporation "ВЭБ.РФ" appealed to the Arbitration Court of the Kaluga Region back in 2018. As of February 2023, the register of claims of the debtor's creditors includes claims in the amount of 2.49 billion rubles.

In addition to ВЭБ.РФ, Sfera-Pharm's debts were formed to the Industrial Development Fund, the Federal Tax Service of Russia and other legal entities. The company also owes 93.5 million rubles in wages to its own employees.

Being the largest creditor, ВЭБ.РФ is interested in preserving the enterprise. The sale of the property complex in a single lot will allow attracting both profile holdings and market investors. The production complex "Sphere-Pharm" is equipped with modern high-tech equipment, which makes it possible to establish the production of pharmaceuticals in compliance with international quality standards, - told RIA Novosti in "ВЭБ.РФ."

According to the SPARK-Interfax system, by mid-December 2023, Alim Omerov owns 100% of the share in Sphere-Pharm. In March 2023, the plant was declared bankrupt, a bankruptcy procedure was introduced against the legal entity.^[1]
