In Administration of the Vladimir region the hardware and software system from Rosplatforma and iRU is implemented

On April 4, 2019 "Rosplatforma" the company reported that in Administrations of the Vladimir region the hardware and software system functioning based on servers iRU and the modern domestic solution from Rosplatforma is implemented. This hardware and software system for April, 2019 is used including for work of components regional electronic document management systems, official Internet- the portal and also some other information systems and services. Delivery, installation and setup of the equipment were carried out by the company "Fortis" – within project implementation Committee of informatization, communication and telecommunications of administration of the Vladimir region on upgrade IT infrastructures.

According to the company, the customer (administration of the Vladimir region) defined equipment supplier according to the results of open competitive procedures. In the tender, in addition to the equipment of the Russian iRU brand, as alternative server solution the equipment of the foreign trademark belonging to one of global IT corporations was considered. Due to use of the iRU servers the supplier could offer the equipment with higher technical characteristics. It allowed not only to ensure stable functioning of a hardware and software system even in the conditions of peak loads, but also to provide a stock of computing power for solving of tasks in the medium term.

The hardware and software system set in administration of the Vladimir region includes three dual-processor iRU Rock i2216 servers assembled based on v4 processors Intel Xeon E5. In addition, two Cisco switches at data transfer rate of 10 Gbps, uninterruptible power supply units of APC with the active power output of 6000 W are a part of a cluster. The computing, switching and additional hardware is installed in a server cabinet of production Hyperline. After completion of installation and testing of a hardware and software system on it the software (S) of Rosplatforma company was unrolled.

Hyper convergent software in structure "R-virtualization" and "R-storage" allows to virtualize at the same time both computing powers of servers, and internal disks of data storage.

The main feature of a program stuffing of Rosplatforma – an opportunity by a software-defined method to integrate separate hardware server resources and to construct failsafe horizontally scalable IT infrastructure based on normal "iron" with optimum characteristics on a ratio quality/cost of the final solution. Use of this hardware and software system increased efficiency as separate application software solutions of administration of the Vladimir region, and IT infrastructure in general.
