Expansion of scale of the project on broadcast of video advertizing in post offices

On June 6, 2019 the Russian Post announced conclusion of an agreement about Rostelecom which expands the scale of the joint project aimed at the development of the Russian market of Digital Signage. The solution is based on technology of centralized operation by advertizing content on the specialized video walls installed on the distributed network of post offices as the effective channel of customer interaction.

The project of broadcast of video advertizing in post offices starting in April, 2019 in certain regions of the Volga region according to the text of the agreement will gain further development in the Urals, the South, the Far East, in Siberia and all regions of the Volga region.

Rostelecom acts as the infrastructure operator of the project which provides data transmission channels, sets specially developed monoblocks integrating in itself(himself) the professional video wall and the mediaplayer, delivers software and cloud solutions for storage and centralized operation by demonstrations.

The Russian Post provides optimal arrangement of screens in departments and will be engaged in search and involvement of partners and advertisers. In addition to commercial, up to 10% of broadcasting time it will be allowed to promotion of the services provided by both companies. Technical solution in the long term will allow to create automatically advertizing content for a target group according to age and a floor, to create advertizing campaigns and to manage them and also to create reports on audience, to analyze efficiency of advertizing campaigns and the lost content.

Advertisements are moderated by the staff of Russian Post regarding compliance of their contents to requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation. Commercial clients will be able to place the rollers as on one screen in one department of a mail service, and to involve advertizing surfaces at once in several departments of a mail service of the city, the region, groups of regions or the whole country that is especially relevant for individual entrepreneurs and a segment of SME and also the large federal companies which need a big scope of audience.

Project startup on broadcast of video advertizing in post offices

On April 4, 2019 the Rostelecom company reported that it together with Russian Post started the joint project of federal scale aimed at the development of the Russian market of Digital Signage. The solution is based on technology of centralized operation by advertizing content on the specialized video walls installed in post offices as the effective channel of customer interaction.

According to the company, 7 subjects RUSSIAN FEDERATION entering the macroregion Volga-1 of Russian Post will become the first platform for project implementation in the field of indoor-advertizing: Nizhny Novgorod and Kirov areas, Perm Krai and also republics Mari El, Mordovia, Udmurtia and Chuvashia. Here the companies will install 2500 video walls more than in 1200 post offices.

Screens will be installed in post offices with the highest client flow that will allow to cover the large volume of audience. Flexible conditions of advertizing and use of modern technologies will give to clients the chance not only to provide the maximum promotion of the content, but also to manage the frequency of their demonstration. Until the end of 2019 we together with Rostelecom are going to equip with postal telegraph office video walls in some other regions of the country.

2018: Creation of a digital network for broadcast of video advertizing

On May 25, 2018 the Rostelecom company announced that the CEO of FGUP Russian Post Nikolay Podguzov and the president of PJSC Rostelecom Mikhail Oseevsky signed the agreement on cooperation of the companies. The document provides joint efforts of the parties on creation of a digital network for broadcast of advertizing and other videos in post offices.

Project implementation will begin in the Volga Federal District where it is going to install 3.3 thousand screens in 1.7 thousand post offices. According to the results of a pilot stage partners will carry out the assessment of cost efficiency of the project and will define perspectives of its development at the federal level.

Rostelecom will act as the infrastructure operator of the project which will provide the organization of high-speed links of data transmission, installation of video monitors and mediaplayers and also delivery of the software and cloud solutions for storage and centralized operation with demonstrations (the platform on content management). In return Russian Post will provide optimal arrangement of screens in departments and will be engaged in search and involvement of partners and advertisers.

"Daily 42000 departments of Russian Post are visited by about 6 million Russians.
