2022: Opening of the center of positron emission tomography for 220 million rubles

2019: Medinvestgroup to build nuclear medicine center in Sterlitamak for 1 billion rubles
On April 24, 2019, information appeared that MedInvestGroup (MIG) will build a nuclear medicine center in Sterlitamak. The medical facility is expected to start operating in 2020. The total investment in the project is estimated at 1 billion rubles.
In particular, it is planned to build on the territory of one of the Sterlitamak hospitals a center for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer with a positron emission computed tomograph (PET-CT), two linear accelerators and accompanying equipment for radiation therapy. The Center for Nuclear Medicine also provides a hospital for antitumor drug therapy.

The agreement on the construction of a nuclear medicine center between the regional authorities and MIG was signed back in mid-February 2019 in Sochi, but the agreement reached by the parties was not publicly announced.[3]
